API-first data access
All Silo capabilities are exposed through APIs — reading, writing, and managing data programmatically. This is what lets Sharp applications, custom integrations, and automations build on Silo directly. API credentials are issued and governed through Cortex.
High-performance data ingestion
Silo ingests data at high throughput, so busy operational workloads — a full night of restaurant orders, a hotel's checkout rush — flow into the platform without bottlenecks.
Data sharing across applications
Data stored by one Sharp application can be shared with others, with access governed centrally. This underpins the platform's out-of-the-box integrations — like Sharp-Hospitality transactions flowing into Sharp-Accounting — and any cross-app view of the organization.
Metadata & schema management
Silo manages metadata and schemas centrally, so data remains discoverable and understandable: what a dataset contains, how it's structured, and how it relates to the rest of the organization's data.
